Observe 25th Wedding Anniversary
William Thies
Celebrates 84th Birthday

Sunday, November 19th marked an occasion for two anniversary celebrations, one being the 25th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Robert True which was November 20th, and the 84th birthday of William Thies, father of Mrs. True, whose birthday was November 18th.

Open house was held at the True home from 3 until 5 Sunday afternoon, sixty friends and relatives called to offer their congratulations. Dorothy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. True, assisted by Mrs. Magnus Sievers and Mrs. Lillie Schmidt poured tea during the afternoon for the many callers. Pages from a memory book containing pictures and clippings pertaining to the wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Tue twenty-five years ago were of special interest.

Thirty-four guests were present at a three course dinner served at the Wedgwood Sunday evening. Decoration appropriate for the occasion were used through the room and on the tables.

The evening was spent visiting and renewing old acquaintances.

Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Lehman of Carroll and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Meir of Storm Lake.
