Juanita Hedblom passed away January 16, 2012, in Green Valley, Arizona. She was born to James and Edna Richardson July 30, 1920, in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated from Pilot Mound High School. In 1939, Juanita Richardson married Howard Hedblom, and they had three children. They raised their children in Pilot Mound, Boxholm, and Van Meter and then retired to Lake Panorama. They spent their winters in Tucson, Arizona. Juanita moved to Tucson permanently after Howard's death in 1986.

Juanita loved her family and enjoyed her grandchildren. She is survived by daughters Judy Rhodes (Gary), Joyce Apodaca, and a son Jim Hedblom (Cindy). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

A private service for Juanita will be held at Carson - Stapp Funeral Home in Ogden, Iowa.
