Marsha (Sweeney) Edsall Herron, 64, passed away Monday, January 23, 2012 at her home in Ankeny. Cremation will take place and a Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, January 27, 2012 at First Presbyterian Church, 907 Grove Avenue in Corning, Iowa.

Marsha was born November 17, 1947 to Bernard and Virginia Sweeney in Creston, Iowa. She graduated from East Union High School and Northwest Missouri State before teaching business and mathematics for 33 years.

Survivors include her husband, Charles H. Herron of Ankeny; daughters, Stacy (Kit) Ricardo of Des Moines, and Wendy (Aaron) Jensen of Ankeny; grandchildren, Zachary, Claire, and Hailey; sisters, Connie (Loren) Edsall of Creston and Linda Sweeney of Chicago; and many other family and friends.
