Jane Grim, 64, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, November 22, 2011.
Jane was born on May 14, 1947 to Maxine and John Tyler in Des Moines, Iowa. She attended Tech High. Jane married Ronald Grim on September 6, 1969 and together they raised two daughters. She worked as a receptionist for Iowa Clinic Medical Imaging. Jane loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. They enjoyed many family trips to Okoboji together. She was a member of First Church of the Open Bible and enjoyed lending a helping hand at church.
Jane is survived by her husband, Ronald; children, Carrie (Jason) Davis and Amanda (Scot) Whitlow; mother, Maxine Tyler; grandchildren, Olivia, J.T., Tyler, Shelby, and Grace; brothers, John Tyler and Jeff (Meg) Tyler; nieces, Jennifer, Maria, Rachel, and Josie; and nephew, John. She is preceded in death by her father, John.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at First Church of the Open Bible, 2200 Beaver Avenue followed by burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon.
