Dennis Wayne Clemens passed into Heaven on Saturday, December 3, 2011. He was born on July 2, 1957 to Gordon and Theresa Clemens in Des Moines, Iowa. He graduated from East High School. He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Clemens. He is survived by his three sons: Joshua (Jennifer) of Grimes, Iowa, Zachary (Kristin) of St. Louis, Missouri, and Nathan of Des Moines, Iowa; two grandchildren, Hali'a and Caelen Clemens; mother, Theresa Clemens of Elkhart, Indiana; and sister, Bernadette (Lloyd) Risius of Elkhart, Indiana.
Visitation will be on Monday, December 5 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Brooks Funeral Care, 7975 University Blvd in Clive, Iowa. Gravesite memorial will be on Tuesday, December 6 at 1 p.m. at the Avon Cemetery in Carlisle, Iowa.
The family would like to thank the Mercy Hospital staff and all family and friends who have kept them in their thoughts and prayers.
