Norman Lee Dudley, Sr., 77, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2011. Funeral will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, December 9 at Brooks South Town Chapel, 7601 Fleur Drive, with burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
Norman retired from Bridgestone-Firestone and enjoyed traveling and camping with his wife and family. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Norm enjoyed raising, breeding and showing birds, fish, dogs and rabbits, as well as quilting.
Norman was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Carrie Dudley, his wife, Sandra, and several siblings.
Norman is remembered by his children: Norman L. Dudley, Jr., Lorrie (Roger) Jones, David (Joanie) Dudley, and Sue Marquer; grandchildren: Megan (Bryon) Wambold, Jared Pace, Devan Pace, Haley (Dice) Pace, Steven Marquer, and Ryan Lester; great-grandchildren: Jayden and Brooklyn Wambold; sister-in-law, Shirley Dudley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family to be designated at a later date.
