Christine Kentopp, 59, passed away unexpectedly December 8, 2011 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Hamilton's on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines. Visitation was held Friday evening.
Christine was active in the theater in the Des Moines area, a Girl Scout leader and an avid equine lover.
She is survived by her husband, Mike; children, Scott Kentopp, Elise (Jeremy) Timm, Amy (David) Bruce, Patrick Kentopp; six grandchildren; parents, Arthur and Norma Heft; sisters, Kathy Marvin, Barb Simmons, Diane McCormick; and many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher.
Christine will be placed to rest in Steele Cemetery in Falls City, NE following a memorial service there.
