Kent Harvey Treleven, 77, of Longmont passed away June 17, 2012 at Longmont United Hospital.

Kent was born May 6, 1935 in Omro, Wisconsin to Harvey and Evalyn (Ihde) Treleven. He graduated with a bachelor's of science from the University of Colorado, Boulder before moving back to Wisconsin to obtain his bachelor's degree in education from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

In September of 1955 he married Audrey Carley in Omro, Wisconsin. Three days later they packed all of their worldly possessions into the back of their Ford Coupe and moved to Boulder, Colorado. Kent loved watching sports and reading Biographies and of History. He was described by his wife as a news junkie.

Kent is survived by his wife, Audrey; his sons, Brian of Sebring, Florida, Kurt, and Marshall of Des Moines, Iowa; his daughter Dawn (Robert) Dick; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his son, Lance.
