Marlys M. Watson was born on February 3, 1931 to Lawrence and Florence Miller. She passed away on December 12, 2011, surrounded by family and friends.
She left behind her husband Martin Watson, sons Donald Bush and Randy Bush, daughters, Andrea (Gary) Grinstead, Shari (Tom) Rhoades, Shannon Caulder, brothers, Luane Miller, Tommy Miller, eight step-sisters and brothers, ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Marlys sold real estate in the Des Moines area for 35 years. She also owned several bars in Des Moines.
She loved reading, playing cards and going to the horse races with her friends.
She was one in a million and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her two sons, Mark and George Watson, her parents and her sister Jean Johnson.
There will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to Jason Weiker Funeral Home, 202 W. Emma St., Slater Mo. 65349.
