Edna Faye Wilson, age 101, of Whiting, Iowa formerly of Des Moines, Iowa passed away on Friday May 25, 2012 at Burgess Health Center in Onawa, Iowa.
Memorial graveside services will be held on Saturday June 30, 2012 at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines, Iowa at 11 a.m.

Edna was born on December 20, 1910 in rural Monroe County, Iowa, the daughter of Roe and Rosa (Lovell) States. Edna graduated from Georgetown High School with the class of 1929.
She was united in marriage with Dan Hembach in 1934 in Des Moines, Dan preceded her in death in 1948. In 1954, she married Glen Wilson in Des Moines, and Glen also preceded her in death in 1973.
Edna worked as an accountant for construction companies, as well as being a homemaker and mother. She was of the Catholic faith. Edna enjoyed playing cards and board games with her friends and family. She spent most of her life in the Des Moines area. She lived for a few years at Valley View Village in Des Moines, prior to moving to Whiting so she could be closer to her son.
She will be missed by her family which includes her son Tom Hembach and his wife Joanne of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, her four grandchildren and her thirteen great-grandchildren and her one great-great-grandchild that is on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents and both of her husbands.
