Scott A. Shiffer was born in Des Moines and died Monday, October 1, 2012 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston at age 43. He was a graduate of Saydel High School and worked for McDonalds.
He is survived by his father, Curtis (Pam); three sisters, Mary (Tom), Karen (Ernie) and Janet; three brothers, Clayton, Jim (Lori) and Craig; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, JoAnn. His family will receive friends from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, October 6 at Tonini Funeral Home, 2135 SW 9th St., Des Moines.
