Matthew Pallwitz, 35, passed away peacefully at home surrounded in the comfort of his family and friends on Tuesday, October 2, 2012. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, October 6, at Oakwood United Methodist Church, 400 NE 56th Street, Pleasant Hill, IA 50327. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Matt was born in Des Moines to Linda and Dennis Pallwitz and spent most of his life in the area. He met and married the love of his life, Kelly Talley, in Ankeny where they lived prior to moving to Bondurant. Matt loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his children. He was an avid Colts football fan. The most important thing in Matt's life was his wife, Kelly and his boys Tyler and Caden.
Matt will be greatly missed by his wife, Kelly, his children, Tyler and Caden Pallwitz; his parents, brothers, and extended family; as well as the many friends he has made over the years.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 5, at Iles Funeral Homes-Grandview Park Chapel. Memorials may be given to the family. Online condolences will be welcomed at IlesCares.com.
