Eugene C Anderson of 2908 SE 14th St Des Moines Iowa died on Thursday October 11, 2012.
Eugene was born May 23, 1926, a US veteran, avid pilot and animal lover. Eugene would open his heart and home to anyone in need.
Eugene was proceeded in death by his wife of 56 years Frances Anderson, parents Andrew and Mable, siblings Elmer, Bill, Doris and Beverly.
He is survived by daughter Deborah Anderson-Olgren, grandchildren Jerimiah Anderson-White, Cortney Anderson-White and great grandchildren Jemma Thraen and Noah Lovig.
A celebration of Eugenes life will be held at 821 E Dunham on Sunday November 25, at 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the family or Bacon Funeral home and crematory, 515-382-2661.
