Joan Annette Moore, 70, of Des Moines, Iowa passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2012. She was born March 28, 1942, in Albia, Iowa, to Alfred and Mildred Jones.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, October 29 at Iles Funeral Homes-Westover Chapel. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 30 at Resthaven Cemetery.
She is survived by two children, Patricia Knox of Oregon and James Moore of Des Moines, Iowa; brother, Ronald Jones of Urbandale, Iowa; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur in 2002.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
