Donald C. Woltz, 65, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 13 at Iles Funeral Homes-Grandview Park Chapel. Burial will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Don was born in Des Moines on July 25, 1947 to Kenneth and Mary (Brophy) Woltz. He was a graduate of Dowling High School and worked as a truck driver for Emery Worldwide. He enjoyed drawing, telling jokes, boxing and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his children, Lacey, Cody and Shannon Woltz and their mother, Virginia Woltz, all of Des Moines; his sons, Todd and Donny Woltz of Arizona; his mother, Mary Olson of Des Moines; brother, Gary (Carol) Woltz of West Des Moines and sister, Paula (Larry) Douglas of Florida. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth, and a son, Geoffrey.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
