Margaret Cregeen 79, died on Sunday November 4, 2012 at the Sunny View Care Center in Ankeny.
Born August 19, 1933 in Puyallup, Washington she was the daughter of Frank and Myrtle McNeil.
Margaret married Richard Regimbal on June 25, 1954 in Seattle Washington, they had one daughter Doris. On January 10, 1986 Margaret married Robert Cregeen in Portland, Oregon. Margaret was a member of Our Lady's Immaculate Heart Catholic Church in Ankeny. She worked for American Linen Supply, Purdy Brush Company, and Fred Meyer.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, camping, playing cards and Bingo with her friends, and enjoyed the one cent slot machines at Prairie Meadows.
Survivors include her daughter Doris Spooner (Tim) of Ankeny, granddaughter Brittany Spooner, grandson's Jacob Spooner, and Joshua Jordan, great granddaughter Hailey Spooner, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Dorothy and Lyle Rogers, various nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands Richard Regimbal and Robert Cregeen, one brother and two sisters.
A memorial funeral service will be held Friday, November 16 at 10:30 a.m. at the Our Lady's Immaculate Heart Catholic Church located at 510 E 1st Street in Ankeny.
A one hour visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the church. Father Steve Ore will officiate.
Central Iowa Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
