Winnifred Mote, 83, of NBA Ramsey Home died of complications of Alzheimer’s disease there Thursday. Private graveside services will be Tuesday at Masonic Cemetery.
Ms Mote has lived in Des Moines all her life. She had been the pharmacy services director at Broadlawns Hospital before retiring and had worked at Drake University. She was a member of the Adelphic Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and White Shrine, and was past president of Zonta Club. She is listed in Who’s Who of American Women.
She is survived by two brothers, Hubert Mote of Green Valley, Ariz., and Gilbert Mote of Norwalk; and a sister, Rachael Hearn of Des Moines.
Southtown Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
