“….The following announcements were received here last week: Mr. and Mrs. A. LUNDGREN announce the marriage of their niece, Ruth CARLSON to Raymond C. SWANSON, Tuesday, Oct. 10, 1922, Des Moines, Ia. Mr. SWANSON is the son of Mr. and Mrs. August SWANSON of Libertyville and was born and reared here. He is a young man of sterling character and is worthy of the young lady he has chosen to be his wife. Mrs. SWANSON whose home has been in Des Moines for several years, has visited here several times had has made many friends here during her visits. They will make their home for the present with the groom’s parents. Their many friends extend heartiest congratulations. (sic. this was a portion of several people oriented items in this issue)
