Herro Ricklefs, one of the well-known German farmers of Lizard township, died at his home, seven miles north of Manson, last Sunday evening, of pneumonia, from which he had been ill but a few days. He was first taken with bronchitis, which developed into pneumonia, and the patient was too weak to withstand its attack.
Mr. Ricklefs leaves a widow and a family of three daughters and two sons. He was- born in Ostfriesland, Germany, about sixty years ago. The funeral will be held tomorrow forenoon, leaving the late home at 11 o'clock, thence to the German Lutheran church on the Lizard, where Rev. Weltner, his pastor, will conduct the last rites, and the Interment will be in the cemetery at the church. Mr. Ricklefs was a good citizen and a kind father and husband. He was a quiet, unobtrusive man, living in his own little world and circle, where he was highly esteemed and greatly loved and respected
