Page 5Occurred at Family Residence After an Illness of Twelve Weeks.
After an illness of twelve weeks, Mrs. Patrick Gorman died at the family home, 710 1/2 West Seventh street, at 9:30 o’clock yesterday morning of cancer of the stomach. The funeral will be held at the Cathedral of the Epiphany at 9 o’clock Thursday morning. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary cemetery.
The deceased woman was born in County Galway, Ireland, seventy-five years ago. She came to America in 1848 and settled in Columbus, Ohio. From there she moved to Galena, Illinois, where she lived twelve years before coming farther west with her husband and taking up a homestead in Plymouth county. The Gormans moved to Sioux City twenty years ago last spring.
Mrs. Gorman is survived by her husband and one son, J. F. Gorman, of Ellendale, Io., and one daughter, Mrs. T. K. Martin, 710 West Fifth street.

GORMAN— The funeral of Mrs. Patrick Gorman was held yesterday morning at the Cathedral of the Epiphany. Rev. T. J. McCarty celebrated requiem mass and preached an impressive sermon. Interment was in Mt. Calvary cemetery. The pallbearers were John Coughlin, Bartholomew Crowley, Timothy McCarty, Michael Follis, D. E. Kerby and Thomas Cleary.
