Mallard Leader - Thursday, February 10, 1949 - Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Auten, 67, of near Rolfe, who died Monday, January 24, at the Emmetsburg hospital, were held the following Thursday at Seymour. She resided with her son Harold prior to her going to the hospital.

She is survived by seven sons and four daughters: Jack of Pocahontas, Harold of Plover, Dave and Roy, Havelock, Virgil of Mallard, Lloyd of Park Rapids, Minn, Burke of Fort Dodge, Mrs. Clark Anderson of Seymour, Mrs. R. Booge of Park Rapids, Minn., Mrs. Delbert Morris of Stromsburg, Nebr., and Carol Auten of Plover.

Her husband preceded her in death a number of years ago while the family were living near Mendota, Mo.
