Services Friday for Frank H. Gillespie
Funeral services for Frank Howard Gillespie, 67, Omaha, will be held Friday, June 2, at 2 p.m., at the Sellergren Funeral home here. He died Tuesday, May 30, in Omaha of a heart condition. He had been in ill health since 1947.
The Rev. Asa Popp will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen cemetery here.
The son of Samuel and Margaret (Gillespie) Gillespie, he was born May 1, 1894, in Page county and came to Red Oak in 1910. A railroad laborer, he was a Baptist and a Mason. He was married in 1914 to Vesta Winn, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ella Nadgwick of Omaha; three sons, John, in the US army at Fort Lewis, Wash., Frank in the army in Korea, Charles of Red Oak; 11 grandchildren.
