E. Clark died at Los Angeles, and was buried last week at his home in Clarinda, this state. He was the Senator from Page and Fremont counties during the years when the prohibitory law was being put together, and was the author of the injunction feature which, for a time, was called the "Clark combination lock."

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in the Clarinda Cemetery. He was born October 18, 1845 and died April 20, 1902.
