Louis Virden for twenty years a barber at Shenandoah, fell dead on the 19th, a victim of acute alcoholism.

Transcriber’s Note: Find-a-Grave shows his gravestone in Rose Hill Cemetery (in Page County) and indicates the spelling of his first name as Lewis.
He was born August 7, 1860 and died October 18, 1905
