LaVonne Guertin, age 50, died May 30, 1975. Funeral services were held Monday, June 2, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Sibley, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Robert Wessels officiating. Burial was in Holman Township Cemetery with the Walton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

She was born Sept. 25, 1924, daughter of Klaas (Nick) and Jennie Fisher. She attended school in Little Rock. On Nov. 13, 1945, she was married to Duane Guertin in Sanborn. They lived in Sheldon, until 1947 at which time they moved to Sibley. They were members of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Sibley.

Survivors include two sons, David, of Granite Falls, Minn., and Daniel at home; three daughters, Diane (Mrs. Stephen Boller) of Excelsior, Minn., Ramona (Mrs. Denny Heitbrink) of Brooklyn Center, Minn., and Collette (Mrs. Ron Willis) of Sioux Falls, S. Dak.; five grandchildren, three brothers, Jack, Ray, and Allen, and three sisters, Kathryn Timmerman, Gertrude Willemssen, and Faye Harms.
