Funeral services for Eva Marolf, 98, were held at the Moscow United Methodist church March 24, 1989 with the Rev. Paul Pennington officiating. Burial was in the Moscow cemetery. Pallbearers were Hilbert Jensen, John Whitmer, Lyle Birkhofer, Togo Kaufmann, Kenny Grunder and Kermit Smith.

Miss Marolf died at the Bethesda Care center, Muscatine, March 21.

The daughter of Fred and Elizabeth Grunder Marolf, she was born in Muscatine county June 4, 1890. She spent her life in the Moscow area, where she operated a vegetable stand-open air market for many years.

She was a member of the United Methodist church and Ladies Aid for whom she was pianist.

She is survived by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 4 sisters and 5 brothers.
