Funeral services for Mitchell Parizek, 1 1/2, West Liberty, were held Aug. 23 at the United Methodist church, with the Rev. Joe Martin Lee officiating. Burial was in the Oak Ridge cemetery.

Mitchell Parizek died suddenly Aug. 20 at his family home northwest of West Liberty.

The son of Kirt and Deb Windus Parizek, he was born Jan. 24, 1985 in Iowa City.

He is survived by his parents; a sister, Ashley Lynn, at home; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Windus, West Liberty; Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Parizek, West Liberty and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Wollrab, Galesburg, Ill.; great-grandparents, Myrtle Parizek, West Liberty; Phyllis Rossman, West Liberty; Ellen Weiler, Ft. Madison and Mr. and Mrs. Martin Windus, West Liberty and 2 great-great-grandmothers, Carrie Wathan and Mae Carr, both of West Liberty.
