Funeral services for Mrs. Harry (Alvena) Einfeldt, 92, were held at the Wilton Presbyterian church March 21 with the Rev. Joseph Mayer officiating. Burial was in the Oakdale cemetery. Pallbearers were Lyle Johnson and Michael, Harry, Dean, Dennis, William, James, Charles and David Einfeldt. The Order of the Eastern Star held services March 20. Mrs. Einfeldt died at Valley View Manor March 18.
The daughter of Claus and Mary Ballou Harder, she was born in Wilton township, Muscatine county, March 8, 1893. She was married to Harry Einfeldt at Davenport Dec. 18, 1915. He died in 1978.
She was a member of the Presbyterian church, Purity Chapter No. 265, Order of the Eastern Star, Wilton and a 50 year member of the Wilton Progressive club.
She is survived by 3 sons, Wayne, Wilton; Robert, Durant and Harry J.; Barstow, Ill.; 2 daughters, Mrs. Harvey (Marian) Kent, Moline, Ill. and Mrs. Marvin (Evelyn) Johnson, Moscow; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, a grandson and 12 brothers and sisters.
