Last rites for Mrs. Harry (Florence A.) Schafnit, 94, were held at the United Presbyterian church, Wilton, Oct. 30 with burial in Oakdale cemetery, Wilton. Mrs. Schaffnit died at the Wilton Nursing home Oct. 27.

The daughter of David and Mattie Marshall Agnew, she was born at Wilton Aug. 15, 1890. She was married to Harry Schafnit in Wilton March 17, 1910.

She was an 81-year member of the church and a 76-year member of Purity Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star at Wilton.

She is survived by 3 grandchildren, Mrs. Norman (Mary Ann) Maurer, Wilton; Harry R. Schafnit, Davenport and Karen Bender, Muscatine; 12 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
