Mrs. Anna Luse 102 Today
Mrs. Anna Luse is observing her 102nd birthday today, April 3. She is a long-time West Liberty resident and lived in her own home until August of last year. She is now at the Hawker Home.

She was born 5 miles north of West Liberty and is the daughter of Jonathan and Prush Gifford Worrall. She attended the Iowa City Academy and studied piano at Geneseo, Illinois. She married Harry Clay Luse in 1891. She is a member of Chapter AH, P.E.O.

She has three children: Ivan of West Liberty, Marjorie Luse of Des Moines and Mrs. Glenn A. (Eleanor) Myers of Kansas City, Mo. Her three grandchildren are Mrs. Nelson Davis (Janet Luse) of Greenville, Texas; Warren Luse of Davenport; Mrs. Garland Miller (Marge Myers) of Champaign, Illinois. She has ten great-grandchildren.
