Henry (Sonny) Golden, 52, of Albia died Feb. 27, 1988, at Monroe County Hospital. Services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Gilbert Funeral Home in Albia, the Rev. Mike Johnson officiating. Burial was in Oak View Cemetery.

He was born June 15, 1935, in Albia to Alfred and Pearl Bringham Golden. He had been employed by Young's Radiator Co. of Centerville and Norris Construction Co. of Ottumwa. He married Leona Braman on Nov. 30, 1956, in Avery.

He is survived by his wife; seven daughters, Sandra Champoux, Teresa, Misty, and Marcy Golden at home, Janet Kosman of St. Joseph, Mo., Kelly Morgan of Moulton, and Robin Gragg of Griffith Ville, Ark.; a son, Sharm at home; three grandchildren; three sisters, Louise Weston and Loretta Glenn of Albia and Wanda Vaal of Ottumwa; and a brother, Ershal of Worthington, Mo. An open memorial has been established.
