Children Wanting Homes.
Mr. C. R. Fry of the Children's Aid Society of New York city, expects to arrive in Osage, Saturday, Oct. 30th, with a party of boys, whom he wishes to place in home with farmers. Those wishing to make application, for boys, will please apply to Mr. Whitney, at the Dunton House. Applicants must be known to some of the committee of reference, or must be provided with recommendations.
The following gentlemen will act as committee: A. Hitchcock, Dr. Chase, Prof. A. Bush, Rev. T.O. Douglass, A. Howard, G. M Stoughton, M. M. Browne, T. M Atherton, D. B Cotton, and J. H. Brush.
Mr. Fry, very much regretted the circumstances by which he disappointed those who applied for boys in August last, and he then promised to bring a party here this fall, and he now promises to redeem that promise.
