AFFIDAVIT: July 5, 1949.

I, Clarise M. Nicholson, being first duly sworn on oath, depose and say that I am the mother of Allen Gene Gosselin and that on his behalf I am filing the attached application of bonus payment arising out of the death in service of Earl Eugene Gosselin, which occured November 1, 1945.

And I do state that Earl Eugene Gosselin and I were married on June 14, 1944; that after his death on June 16, 1946 I remarried and am still remarried. My present husband being Paul R. Nicholson of Orchard, Iowa.

That the said Allen Gene Gosselin was the only child born to Earl Eugene Gosselin and myself. That said child is living with me, and that he is only 4 years of age and that I am therefore making this application for him since he is the one entitled to the State Bonus payment. I further state that no guardian of the property of said minor has been appointed and I am therefore the person who should sign the application for him.
