Jesse G. Bristol, aged 61, formerly of Marshalltown, was killed at Lava Hot Springs, Idaho, when a boulder fell upon him while he was prospecting.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born in 1857 and is buried in the Lava Hot Springs Cemetery.
