Carol G. Squiers, 90, of Marshalltown, died Monday, February 13, 2012, at the Southridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center while under the care of Iowa River Hospice.

Funeral services for Carol will be held Friday, February 17, at 11 a.m., at the First Presbyterian Church in Marshalltown. Burial will take place at the Haven Cemetery near Tama, Iowa. Visitation for Carol will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, February 16, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be directed in her name to the Toledo EMS. Carol is survived by her son Larry (Karen), Marshalltown; daughter Lorell, Des Moines; grandsons Logan (Alyssa), Corpus Christi, Texas, and Grant, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, sister Faye Gallagher, Brooklyn, Iowa, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank; son Gary and sisters Ada Squiers and Helen Beadle.
