Funeral services for Clarence Thomas Larew, 73, who died at the Sioux Center Community hospital Friday after a long illness, were held at the Methodist church in Harvey, Ia., at 1:30 p.m. Monday.
Burial was made at Harvey.
Mr. Larew had made his home at Rock Valley in recent years, following retirement as a rural mail carrier. He was born and reared at Harvey and spent his life there up until his retirement.
Survivors include the widow, Beryle; a daughter, Mrs. Donald Klein of Rock Valley; a son, Robert, of Des Moines; two brothers, Ernest of Harvey and John of Alma, Wis.; a sister, Mrs. Grace Shay of Harvey, and seven grandchildren.

Clarence Larew who formerly lived in this community passed away at the hospital in Sioux Center Jan. 20, and was buried in Eureka Cemetery following the funeral service at the Methodist Church Jan. 23. Clarence, whose home is Rock Valley, had been ill and in the hospital for 6 months.
