1922-1991Knoxville, IA - Services for Glenn Cameron of Knoxville will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Evans-McCleery Funeral Home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Mr. Cameron, 69, died of a heart ailment Wednesday at Knoxville Area Community Hospital.
Born in Des Moines, he lived in Knoxville most of his life and retired after 25 years with the Army Corps of Engineers. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of First United Methodist Church and the American Legion.
Among survivors are his wife, Madalynn; two sons, Glen III of Minneapolis and Bruce of Knoxville; two daughters, Susan Deets of West Branch and Chris Cameron of Dallas, Texas; a brother, Joe of Knoxville; and five grandchildren.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to his church's radio ministry. ~ The Des Moines Register, Des Moines, Iowa Fri 16 Aug 1991.
