SPEARS. Died, at the residence of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hawkins, 618 South Market street, at 9:30 o'clock, Friday evening, Aug. 23, 1889, MABEL SPEARS, aged 8 years. She will be buried in Muchakinock cemtery beside her mother, who died at Mr. Hawkins' residence last Saturday. (Oskaloosa Herald, August 29, 1889)
