Miss Vivian Elliott of Oskaloosa and Homer D. Gay of Rose Hill were married at 1:00 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, February 14, 1934, at the First Christian church parsonage with Rev. M.H. Williams, pastor, performing the single ring ceremony. They were accompanied by the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. George L. Elliott.
The bride was graduated from Oskaloosa high school with the class of 1929. For the past four years she has been a teacher in the Mahaska county rural schools. The bridegroom has been engaged in farming.
Immediately following the ceremony the couple left for a short wedding trip.
Mr. and Mrs. Gay will be at home after March first on a farm southwest of Oskaloosa.
