The parents of Don Killen of Carlisle, who were notified of his being severely wounded in France, received word yesterday of his death from wounds.

Markers Placed For 8 Soldiers

War Memorial Association Honors Eight More Dead. Two More Reported.

The War Memorial Association last week placed eight more markers in the Winterset cemetery for soldiers who were killed in battle or died in service. Markers were erected for Olivio Toson, Charles A. Young, Harold C. Glover, Harold N. Benge, Fred Irvin, Harley T. Young, Don J. Killen, W.W. Luddington.

Two more soldiers from Madison are reported dead, but no official announcement has been made. Forty-two markers have been erected by the association.
