Keith Curry, 77, of East Moline, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 11am on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at First Presbyterian Church, 777 25th Ave, East Moline, IL 61244. Visitation will be from 3pm to 7pm Monday, July 25, 2022, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd, 6601 38th Ave, Moline, IL 61265. Cremation rites will be accorded after services and inurnment will be at Worthington Cemetery, Earlham, IA at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family or First Presbyterian Church.

Keith was born on May 29, 1945, in Rock Island, the son of Kenneth and Marjorie (Long) Curry. He graduated from United Township High School in 1963, and then attended Black Hawk College. He was a member of the Illinois National Guard. He worked for the family business, Ken Curry Construction, Inc. all his life and was the president since 2003. Keith married Carol Crawford on November 11, 1972, in East Moline.

Keith was a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church in East Moline, have serving as an elder and trustee. For over 50 years, he was a member of the Laborers Local 309 and was also a member of the OPCMIA Local 18. He was a collector of Japanese WWII and Civil War military guns. Keith was also a collector of classic cars and loved participating in car clubs, including the local Blackhawk Chapter POCI. He helped start the East Moline Main Drag car show. He enjoyed drag racing with his brother. He served multiple terms as a trustee on the Carbon Cliff village board, including at the time of his death.

Known by all as kindhearted and generous, Keith never turned down a request to help family, friends, and community. "Pa" attended countless band concerts, Scouting events, and other activities for his children and grandchildren who were the lights of his life.

Survivors include his wife, Carol; children, Kyle (Stacy) Curry, St Paul, MN, Clayton (Susan) Curry, East Moline, Catherine (Brian) McKeag, East Moline; grandchildren, Keely (Matthew) Vaughan, Hudson, IA, Kenna Curry, St Paul, Alex, Madelyn, Daphne, and Spencer Curry, East Moline; and great-grandchildren Matthew and Kathryn Vaughan, Hudson, IA.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gerald.
