W. P. Harbison, dealer in millinery goods; born in Monroe county, Indiana, in 1841, and lived there until 1855, when he removed to Iowa, and came to this county in 1856; he enlisted in Company C, 34th Iowa Infantry, during the late war, and was discharged on account of disability; he was married to Miss Amanda Clelland in 1864; she was born in Pennsylvania; they have one son: Robert C., age thirteen years; have lost two: Luella A. and J. Carl McQ.
