On Thursday evening, Sept. 2nd, 1875, at the residence of MR. RICHARD REED
the bride's father near Chariton by the Rev. H. H. Oneal, MR. C.L. JAMES,
son of DR. L.R. JAMES of Atlanta, Ill., to MISS EMMA E. REED.

The above couple left on the midnight train after being married, for the
home of the groom, where in a house well filled, on a farm well tilled the
twain will take up their abode. May their sojourn together be a pleasant
and profitable one.
