Mrs. Amanda Gable, wife of Thomas Gable, die of consumption at St. Francis hospital in Burlington last Thursday, Nov. 2, where she had been for some time. Her maiden name was Pfeiffer. She had been in failing health for a number of years. A son died with the same disease a year or so ago. She was 45 years and two months of age. She leaves her husband and a daughter, Mabel, about fifteen years old. The remains were brought to Wapello last Friday. Rev. M. E. Reusch conducted short services at the home. The interment was in the Wapello cemetery.
