DISTINGUISHED SERVICE CROSS
Lotus N. Mobley (army serial No. 240329), sergeant, Company L, 102d Infantry. For extraordinary heroism in action near Trugny, France, July 23, 1918. Sergt. Mobley displayed exceptional courage in dashing into field under heavy shell and machine gun fire and carrying to safety a wounded man.
