SCOTCH GROVE - Funeral services for Mrs. Nora Imogene Streets, for 34 years a resident of Scotch Grove, were held Saturday, Dec. 11, at 2 p.m. from the Wallace funeral home in Wyoming. Burial was in the Katy cemetery.
Nora Streets was born Feb. 7, 1875, in Amber and died December 9 in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Cliff McDonald, Center Junction, after a long illness. She was married to Tom Streets April 2, 1896, and her husband preceded her in death June 19, 1938. Son, Roy, also preceded her in death Dec. 19, 1946, and a daughter Eva, in infancy.
She is survived by three sons, John, Rock Island, Lee G. Streets, Scotch Grove, and Glenn, Anamosa; two daughters, Mrs. Marion Clark (Florence), Monticello, and Mrs. Cliff McDonald (Hazel), Center Junction; 10 grandchildren. She was a member of the Scotch Grove Presbyterian church for many years and until her illness was active in the women's groups of the church.
Rev. Charles Hendricks had charge of the funeral services.
