WYOMING - Mrs. Myrtle C. Millsap, 87, died Friday, April 9, 1971 at the Anamosa community hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Millsap were held at Wyoming Methodist church Monday, April 12 at 1:30 p.m., with Rev. Lyle Meester officiating. Burial was in the Wyoming cemetery.
Myrtle Switzer Millsap was born near Hale, August 30, 1883, the daughter of Phillip and Agnes Berry Seitzer. She was married to Edward Millsap in Pierson, Iowa, April 4, 1917. They moved to Wyoming where they operated a hatchery and creamery business. Mrs. Millsap was employed for several years as telephone operator in Wyoming and was a member of the Wyoming Methodist church.
Surviving are one son, Edgar Lyon, Wyoming; one daughter, Mrs. Walter (Madge) Sullivan, Wyoming; ten grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Belle Lingle, Kingsley, Iowa.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters, one brother and two grandchildren.
