Two Pea Ridge Battle Men Return-1862

The Anamosa Eureka, Anamosa, Iowa, Friday, April 18th, 1862

MILITARY-Captain Harper left last Monday to rejoin his company in the 9th. E. V. Miller left on the day previous to rejoin the 13th. On Tuesday the train brought in two of the Harper’s Company from the Pea Ridge battle. They were Michael Breen of Bowen’s Prairie, wounded by a bullet through his left arm below the elbow, and Joseph A. Burdick of the same place, witb a bullet wound through the right arm a little above the wrist.
