Charlie G. Irons, passed away on April 8, 2022 at home in Runnells, Iowa. Charlie was born on July 26, 1932 to Lester and Gladys Irons. After graduating from Runnells High School, Charlie worked for several small firms. Charlie also worked for, and retired from Western Electric installing telephone equipment.
Charlie married Dorothy L. Wolver on August 10, 1956. Together Charlie and Dorothy raised 2 children.
Charlie is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dorothy; children, David and Diane; grandchildren, Benjamin, Andrew, Lisa and Mary; great grandchildren, Witten, Saylor and Willow.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, brother Herman; mother and father in law, Ray and Mary Wolver; brothers in law, Gene Taylor and Ray Wolver; sisters in law, Elizabeth Parker and Judy Wolver.
