Linda Lea Himrich, 76, died peacefully on Christmas Day, Sunday, December 25, 2022.
A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, January 7, 2023, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. A visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2023, at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Linda will be laid to rest with her husband and our father, John Himrich, at McKeever Cemetery in Colfax, Iowa
Linda was born November 7, 1946, in Des Moines, Iowa to Dale and Frances (Campopiano) Reeser. She was raised alongside three brothers.
She married our father, John Edward Himrich, in 1969. She and John raised their two children in Indianola, Iowa, and were both very involved in all aspects of their lives.
She worked and retired from a job she loved, and loved to tell you all about, as a CNC Operator at John Deere in Ankeny.
